Fwd: U 19 Spring Coed League

Subject: U 19 Spring Coed League

Good afternoon, all.

As we discussed a couple of meetings ago, I am attempting to organize a new rec league for spring 2007 for U 19 boys and girls.

I think all of us recognize the need for healthy pursuits for kids in this age group.  I believe this also represents a chance to do something no one else in the area is doing... providing a service to the high school age kids that love soccer, but have almost no avenue for organized soccer after their freshman year.

The tentative plan is to play on Saturday afternoons, and hold one weekly practice

Please pass on this info (and attached flyer) to anyone who may be interested.

Also, if anyone can offer any tips or advise as to making this league work, I would be very eager to hear them.

And, as usual, any persons interested in coaching or assisting in any way will be graciously welcomed.

Thanks

Russ
