We plan to set up and line the U8 fields tomorrow morning (assuming no rain) at PTSC from 8am-Noon if anyone is interested in helping.

Spring U8 Soccer Notes
U8 Coaches:
Here are some notes for you to digest before the Spring season begins. Once again, I can't thank you guys enough for taking the time to volunteer. It is greatly appreciated. I think all of you guys are doing a great job. I haven't heard one complaint from the fall season - something that should make you guys proud.

The U8 coaches website has been moved to a new location. Update your bookmarks.
U8 Top 10 FAQ
I created an FAQ for the Top 10 questions asked by U8 Parents. Please pass this on to your teams (along with the Parent Guide).
U8 Blog
If you ever lose an email from me, feel free to reference my U8 blog. Every (meaningful) email I send to you guys shows up here.
Coaches Meeting
There will be a coaches meeting March 6th from 7-9pm at the Rec Center.
Opening Weekend
The first weekend of games is slated for March 24th. Practices can begin the prior week (12-16), assuming the fields are open and the weather is cooperative.
Venetia
It looks like the Venetia field might re-open this Spring. If so, I believe it will be used for practices only. This may allow us to spread our practices over two additional fields. Stay tuned. For now, I'm going to leave our Practice Schedule alone.
Additional Teams
There will be at least 2 more teams added to our group (Thanks Bill Weyers and Demetri Mahramas) due to the number of Spring registrations I've received.
New Paint Machines
New paint machines (which are incompatible with the older ones) have been purchased for Peterswood Soccer Complex. Hopefully they are better and easier to use.
Coaching Module
There will be a PA West hosted U10 Coaches Youth Module on March 3 in Canon-McMillian. Additional coaching modules can be found on the PA West website.
Here are some items that you should pass onto your parents:
Family Night
PTSA will host a Family Night at the Rec Center the evening of April 14th. More details to come later.
Challenger Camp
The summer camp, with Challenger, will be held July 16-20 this year.
2007-08 Registration
Registration (in person) for 2007-08 will be April 14 and April 21.
