We had our PTSA meeting last night and I wanted to pass my notes.
I need coaches
I need at least two or three more coaches for this spring. Please pass the word to anyone you know that might be interested. I received a lot of registrations for this Spring and I'm in a bind until I can find some more volunteers. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Coaches Meeting
There will be a Coaches Meeting next Wednesday (March 12th 7pm-9pm) at the old Rec Center near the Police Station.
Field Help
I will need lots of help setting up our fields for this Spring. I would greatly appreciate anyone willing to help.
Other noteworthy items
- There will be a "Y" Coaching course March 22nd. Let me know if you are interested.
- The Challenger Soccer Camp will be held July 14-18 this year. More information can be found on our website.
- It's possible that part of the Soccer Complex will be shut down for renovations. I'm not sure if we will get Venetia again. Stay tuned.
- There will be a fund raising Golf Outing May 16th. I encourage all of you to participate. More information to follow in the next few weeks.
- New coaches only need to get the eKidsSafe check (through PA West). Parks and Rec are not forcing us to get both checks moving forward.
- The soccer picnic is set for May 31st.
