Re: Fields Opened

A good question.

I'm going to keep our games canceled for this weekend.

Teams can practice though as long as the fields are open.

Does that mean that the games are now "back on" for this weekend, or are they still cancelled?

All,

PTP&R opened the fields late this afternoon.  Steve M. is updating the
Hotline to effect that PTSA concurs and has opened fields for practices.
There are still a lot of soft spots on them, so Commissioners, please
request Coaches to avoid those areas.  Also, Commissioners should instruct
Coaches to check the Hotline daily over the next several days as some rain
is in the forecast, especially Friday, and PTSA may close the fields if
they saturate again.

PTP&R Maintenance over-seeded and fertilized some fields today and plans on
doing so at PSC (Field #5) tomorrow morning.  The "fields closed" signage
and gates there may still be closed (unless PTP&R Maintenance was able to
take them down and open the gates late today), but the that field is
nevertheless open as well for the moment.  If gates are closed, access s/b
from the hillside, down.

Pete
