Please send a notice to your Coaches to remind parents that loose dogs are not permitted at the soccer fields and leashed dogs are discouraged (as they tend to distract, frighten some players and other spectators) ... also, one of our coaches had to remove "dog dirt" from a playing field due to the lack of consideration exhibited to others by a dog owner who ignored Peters Township park rules or was extremely inattentive to their dogs' business. I know we've had instances of dogs appearing at the fields that are running loose from surrounding neighborhoods ... in those instances, Peters Townhip's Animal Control should be contacted as it is responsible for stray or lost dogs ...
